Somewhere you didn’t have to dress up to go to, or book, or to pay through the nose for a specialty coffee. Combining a love of the surf, real healthy food and great quality coffee, the Yelo brand was born. Very quickly the Trigg community em-braced Yelo Trigg as the community hub to meet their friends and neighbours for a regular greeting whilst grabbing their morning coffee, paper or juice. The casual vibe, friendly service and quality produce became synonymous with the old surf shack on the beach that pumps out consistent quality coffee and homemade healthy food, all day from 6am.

The addition of Yelo Mt Hawthorn in 2012 saw Yelo take over another run-down, iconic site and bring it to life, as well as the Northern end of Oxford St. The Yelo brand expanded its mission to serve quality coffee, food and produce to the Mt Hawthorn community and still does today, everyday from 6am. In it’s newly reno-vated premises, Yelo Mt Hawthorn now has more space with an inside dining area as well as alfresco and courtyard seating. The once sleepy end of Oxford Street is now a bustling hub and quality dining precinct, with Yelo operating 6am -5pm 7 days a week, the Mt Hawthorn coffee and food scene is alive and well.

Yelo’s Brand is known for quality coffee and real, healthy food made fresh and ready to go. Yelo’s ability to create quality produce and consistent coffee fast, is it’s brand and the owner has designed systems to enable Yelo’s customers to text or pre-order and pickup, or to order and wait in-store.

However the customer orders, the coffee is great and wait-times are short. Using 2 Wega Vela Vintage Machines in each store, Yelo can produce serious coffee volumes. A morning coffee rush will have 2 baristas work each machine, while a steady line of customers filter through the door to collect their precious cup of choice.

Coffee

Signature espresso Yelo blend, roasted locally and fresh for you. Made in house by our team of fully qualified baristas using Wega Vela Vintage 3 group machines, BNZ grinders and under temperature controlled pour.

The Yelo blend is also available in retail take home packs in-store as whole bean, espresso, plunger, filter press and pod form. Freshly brewed organic teas, wet leaf Chai, tumeric, matcha, hot chocolate, babycinos all available in-store
Milk’s on offer: Bannister Downs full cream and lite milk all alternative nut, soy and dairy free milks available, Almond, coconut, Oat, Rice, Soy, macadamia, hemp and lactose free.

Cold

Health smoothies, fruit smoothies, dairy free options, proper thick milkshakes, cold pressed juices, organic juice boxes for kids, iced drinks, Kombucha, coconut water and bottled juices.

Acai and Mango smoothie’s, iced mocha or chocolate are blended in a frappe style as is Yelo’s iced coffee made with fresh espresso shots.  Iced latte, long black and Mac are also available as pour-overs straight from the coffee machine.

Yelo’s banana and berry smoothies are signature items on the menu, as is the selection of Live, cold pressed in-house made juices using fresh fruit and vegetables. Yelo’s milkshakes are the thickest in town, hands down!

Dairy free smoothies and milk substitutes are on our menu, make your own or choose from our selection of green smoothies, green juices and fruit based smoothie options. Cacao, avocado, dates, nut milks, all available and made to order

Bowls

Acai bowls are made fresh using only pure organic, fair trade Acai, our own freshly made granola and fresh fruit toppings, our Mango bowl is also a big crowd favourite and any of the smoothies on Yelo’s menu are available as a bowl too, topped with fruit and granola or any topping of choice.

Yelo’s bowl menu is available all year round, has seasonal options and all our bowls are made fresh to order using real frozen fruits, nut milks and topped with our suggested topping or the selection of your choice, coconut flakes, banana, berries, granola, kiwi, apple, pear, a scoop of nut butter, any or all of the above!
