With an elevated view over Trigg’s beautiful beaches and surf, the old beach shack is transformed into one of Western Australia’s go-to coffee places. Everyone is welcome at this iconic site, the old Cleggies still holds clear memories of a traditional corner store. A bait/tackle shop come deli in the 70’s & 80’s, with the marlin on the roof and all the local fishing knowledge anyone would want, Cleggies sold everything from lollies, hot chips, milk, bread, newspapers and bait, to fishing supplies, thongs, beachwear and even boat fuel.
The marlin is gone, but the iconic building with corner store ammenities and beach vibes is still here. With views over Trigg’s beaches to Rottnest Island, spectacular sun sets and a short walk to iconic Mettams pool, Yelo Trigg encompasses everything that is beachside living in WA.
Local residents meet at Yelo from 6am, early morning dog beach goers, swimmers, surfers and alike. Folks on bikes, walkers, runners, cruisers, families, professionals, sportspeople, celebrities, business suits and wetsuits.

Yelo Trigg provides everything from your daily coffee hit and quality fresh food selections, as well as fresh live juices, smoothies, bowls and thick milkshakes. Freshly baked breads, muffins, cakes and slices, raw and Gluten free options as well as organic drinks, treats and icecreams. Yelo Trigg also sells daily needs such as newspapers, milk, bread, take-home meals and coffee retail packs. The shelves are stocked with beachwear, surf accessories and a library of books, gifts and homewares. The vibe is completed with a friendly crew of locals serving up Yelo goodness to some great tunes playing throughout the store.
